Environmental HSE Lead

Main job responsibilities:
📌Participate in the establishment, management, and continuous improvement of the Environmental Management System in accordance with environmental legislation, international standards—including ISO 14001.
📌Lead the preparation & implementation of procedures, programs, and improvement plans in the field of environmental management.
📌Create and continuously improve the environmental management system
📌Identify ecological risks & develop preventive measures to prevent their occurrence, as well as oversee their implementation.
📌Facilitate the effective implementation of the company’s commitments in the field of decarbonization.
📌Support the development & continuous improvement of oil spill response plans, as well as actively participate in environmental incident investigations.
📌Supervise contractors’ environmental performance in accordance with contractual agreements.
📌Monitor & analyze environmental performance indicators, and prepare management reports & recommendations.
📌Organize and ensure the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) documents for construction & drilling projects included in the state ecological expertise list.
📌Organize environmental monitoring activities & the preparation of reports to assess the impact of company’s processes on the environment.
📌Develop action plans to address non-conformities identified during monitoring & oversee their implementation to ensure corrective measures are effectively applied.
📌Lead efforts to reduce the organization’s environmental footprint, such as waste reduction, energy efficiency, & resource conservation.

Job requirements:
✔Bachelor’s degree in Ecology, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or Environmental Management (a master’s degree is preferred)
✔Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the field of Environmental Protection
✔At least 3 years of managerial experience in Environmental Management
✔Comprehensive knowledge of environmental legislation, national and international standards and requirements
✔Certification in environmental management (e.g., ISO 14001) is mandatory
✔Strong leadership & organizational skills
✔Excellent written & verbal communication skills
✔Ability to identify and assess risks
✔High proficiency in delivering presentations & conducting discussions
✔Organizational skills, prioritization, and the ability to work under tight schedules
